Going into the final round of the 2017 season, 11 clubs can make the top eight. But I can only see the order of the teams inside the eight changing – which means that West Coast, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs will not play finals. I think all three of those sides will lose in Round 23 and Essendon, currently eighth, will move to seventh after a big win over Fremantle.
