Lions and Giants trade picks
The Brisbane Lions and GWS Giants are reported to have agreed to swap a number of selections in preparation for the upcoming National Draft. Brisbane will give up picks 2, 31, 51 & 60, giving GWS a total of 3442 points, while they will receive picks 3 and 16 which totals 3301. The trading of selections is a very good outcome for both clubs as it gives the Giants an important extra 141 extra points to use on their Academy products, and the Lions gain a valuable first round selection.
