Another Irish player departs Essendon ahead of 2021 season

Irish Essendon recruit Ross McQuillan has announced his retirement. According to The Herald Sun, McQuillan has made the decision not to return to Australia from Ireland. The report adds that COVID-19 played a factor in his choice to stay at home.
