Franklin learns Tribunal fate after Swans challenge ban
Sydney star Lance Franklin has had his one-match ban for striking overturned at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night. The Swans were successful in appealing Franklin’s suspension for a stray elbow to the head of Fremantle defender Luke Ryan. Match Review Officer Michael Christian graded the incident as careless, medium impact and high contact.
