Johannisen turns back on rival interest to sign multi-year deal at Bulldogs
Jason Johannisen will remain with the Western Bulldogs after signing a new two-year deal at the club. Johannisen, 29, had attracted strong interest from Gold Coast during the year and looked set to test the waters as an unrestricted free agent during the trade period. But the utility has chosen to extend his contract at Whitten Oval, with list manager Sam Power stating the club was happy he’d decided to stay.
