Lions midfielder named VFL’s best as Dogs skipper, Werribee youngster and VFLW trio claim key awards

Brisbane Lions midfielder Jarryd Lyons has won the JJ Liston Trophy as the VFL’s best and fairest for season 2023. The 31-year-old polled in 11 of the 14 matches he played in during the home and away campaign to finish on 26 votes, two clear of Southport’s Boyd Woodcock (24).
