Popular Blue inks three-year contract extension
Matthew Cottrell has penned a contract extension with Carlton for a further three seasons. A pre-season supplemental selection back in 2019, Cottrell is now embedded in Michael Voss’ best 22 and will continue his time at Carlton until at least the end of 2027. He’s played 56 AFL games since debuting in 2020, with the club stating Cottrell “personifies the Blues’ mantra of ‘being a good teammate’.
