Report: Young Tiger sent for surgery after hamstring injury

Richmond defender Josh Gibcus will miss the start of the 2023 season with a hamstring injury. Gibcus suffered the injury at training on Monday and AFL Media’s Josh Gabelich is reporting that surgery is required to repair the damaged tendon. After being carried off the track by two trainers following the incident, Richmond fans will breathe a sigh of relief that their young gun is only set to miss the early rounds of the season.
