Swans confirm extent of Lance Franklin finger injury
Sydney will be without Lance Franklin for at least the next fortnight. The veteran key forward was substituted out of the side’s win over North Melbourne with a finger injury. The Swans have confirmed Franklin has undergone a procedure and had a small plate inserted in the finger. The expectation is that he will be available to return in two to three weeks. The 35-year-old has kicked nine goals from four games so far this season.
