West Coast appoint Hurn replacement

West Coast has appointed Luke Shuey as the new captain of the club. The midfielder, 29, replaces Shannon Hurn in the role after the 2018 premiership skipper stepped down earlier this week. Shuey was drafted by the Eagles in 2008 and has played 201 games in the blue and gold. The Victorian has won two best and fairests as well as the Norm Smith Medal for his sublime performance the nail-biting Grand Final win over Collingwood in 2018.
