Western Bulldogs, Carlton stars scoop AFL Nation awards
The 2019 AFL Nation Awards breakfast was held at the MCG today. Over the course of the season, the AFL Nation talent voted on a number of categories including Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, plus Goal, Mark, Big Moment and Tackle of the Year. Western Bulldogs star Marcus Bontempelli took out the CRT Australia Player of the Year finishing on 24 votes to beat Richmond’s Dustin Martin and Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield (21) with Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe and Carlton gun Patrick Cripps (20) next.
