Young Blues forward injures knee in VFL
Carlton forward Tom De Koning suffered a knee injury playing in a VFL practice game on Thursday. According to afl.com.au, De Koning, 19, will see a specialist on Tuesday after he suffered a moderate grade lateral ligament injury after undergoing scans on Friday. Before going off just before three-quarter time, the young Blue had booted two goals and was one of the Northern Blues' best in their match against Richmond at Punt Road.
