Port Power hold Hawks off in a thriller in Adelaide
Port Adelaide has held off a late charge to beat Hawthorn by eight points points at Adelaide Oval. The Power booted 8.2 to the Hawks’ 1.2 to hold a whopping 42-point lead after one quarter. The lead pushed out to 51 by the main break, but the Hawks showed their class in the second half. The reigning premiers kicked 10.6 as they outscored the hosts 66-23 in the final two quarters, falling just short in the end. More to come.
